Utilities
Our members recommend the following utilities:
- Curse Client — Automatically collects information on items and enemies you encounter in the game and adds that data to the ever growing WarDB, for everyone to reference. Also tracks your character’s, their inventory, your guild, and so on. Excellent tool.
Add Ons
Our members recommend the following add-ons:
- SpamMeNot — Tool that runs silently in the background while you play Warhammer; filters out gold seller spam from your chat log, and automatically reports those offenders to Mythic for banning. Essential tool. — Recommended by Mythic Entertainment
- Squared — Hugely useful tool for healer classes. — Recommended by Kaburan
- Mechanic — Provides a simple movable+scalable numeric display for the current value of a class’ mechanic (as long as it uses a simple numeric mechanic - support for the more complex ones like Tranquility/Force or Mork/Gork may come later). — Recommended by Torien
- WhinySpellTimer — Track buffs/debuffs you cast on yourself and your offensive and defensive targets. — Recommended by Okaria
Screen Recording
If you’re interested in recording videos of ingame footage, we recommend using either FRAPS or Game Cam. These are both confirmed to work with Warhammer Online under Windows XP and Vista. Note that these are shareware utilities. Free alternatives exist, but their quality is questionable.
