Races in upcoming Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion leaked

Wow.com has reportedly discovered two playable races premiering in the upcoming World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion; the Worgen (Alliance) and Goblins (Horde). Both races have been present within the World of Warcraft universe since launch, and a step towards making them a choice for players is definitely plausible given Blizzard's last race additions back in The Burning Crusade.

Mac Client for Warhammer Online in Beta

Apple users rejoice; Mythic has announced the availability of a native Mac client for Warhammer Online. Available in beta today and an anticipated final release this summer, this new client will allow Apple users to play the popular MMORPG without having to dabble with emulation or reboot into Windows using Boot Camp.

Likewise, players who login using the client this fall will receive an exclusive in-game title ("I'm an Order" or "I'm a Destruction") and item, the "iPomme".

Champions Open Beta Begins August 17th

Shacknews is reporting that the open beta for Cryptic's next big superhero MMO Champions Online will begin on August 17, with "guaranteed access" to preorders in North America. Not entirely clear what that last bit means, but there you go.

DDO Unlimited Gets Release Date

The Free to Play version of Dungeons and Dragons Online now has a release date. Turbine will be opening the doors to DDO Unlimited on August 4th!
