Default FFXIV Collectors Edition Details


Retailers are starting to take pre-orders on the Collectors Edition (so far Amazon is the only one actually taking pre orders, others are just showing it on their site. Details for Amazon here.)

So what does the collectors edition get you?
  • Collector's Edition Content includes the following
  • Early Access code! (6 days prior to standar edition)
  • FFXIV Game Disc, Behind the scenes DVD, Buddy Pass Insert
  • "Right of Passage" voucher, In Game Item, Branded Security Token, and Travel Journal
  • Delivered by mail-Personalized and numbered "Right of passage" document

I think we'll be seeing even more exciting news today - stay tuned.

So how is this looking? Love the FF francise but only have played three of them. Still diehard EQ2er but looking for a possible diversion.

Shadowgates - 90th Wizard, 250AA, 90 Sage, 450 Tinkering / 152 Adorning
Avathar - 90th Warden, 232 AA, 30 Provisioner

Just looked at the Gamestop add for the CE vs the non CE. On the CE it lists:

8 (not 6) day head start.
30 day free play. The non cd doesn't say 30 days free.

The spec requirements are up on the site, but you probably know that already and just want to see for yourself

Couple things:

#1 - I will send out as many codes to people as I can who want to try it before they purchase the game.
#2. Can anyone explain to me what the "Right of Passage" voucher is?
